Description:

Our 9th M365 Chicago event will be held on November 13, 2020 in Microsoft Teams this year.  The event will run from 8:30 am ~ 4:30 pm CST. Microsoft 365\Cloud\Power Platform administrators, end users, architects, developers, and other professionals that work with Microsoft Collaboration or Cloud Technologies will meet to share the latest information for working with Microsoft365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, the Power Platform and related offerings from Microsoft. The event is a community-focused event dedicated to educate and engage members of the local technical community. Our event draws upon the expertise of local IT Professionals, Users of Technology, Developers and Solution Architects who come together to share their real-world experiences, lessons learned, best practices, and general knowledge with other like-minded individuals M365 Chicago needs you to share your expertise with other professionals that work with Microsoft 365 across the world! The next M365 Chicago event will be a fully online event Friday November 13th, 2020. The event will run from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm CST.  We’ll host it in Microsoft Teams of course! The call for speakers is now open.  Hurry and submit your topics!   Attendees will include Microsoft platform administrators, end users, architects, developers, and other professionals that work with Microsoft collaboration or cloud technologies. We are open to diverse topics such as those in Development, Soft Skills, Community outreach and any of the following: M365 Apps e.g. Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Yammer, The Desktop Suite   Security & Compliance & Governance Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI, Virtual Agents) User Adoption and change management  Verticals (Education, Government, Helpdesk, etc.) We seek a diverse and inclusive group of speakers, from seasoned and world recognized to new voices.  If you have a great topic but need help preparing, let us know – we can help.  Internet speeds notwithstanding, you can be located anywhere in the world when giving your topic and rest assured there will be technical run throughs to make sure the experience is optimal for you and the folks attending.   Remember the date: Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition, so the tag line for the event is “What could go wrong?”.  We encourage you to use that question as a lead into lessons learned, surprising solutions or secret tips presented in your sessions.   Likewise, we are also encouraging incorporating Chicago references in session proposals though this is not required.  For example, we’d love to see eye catching (or groan inducing) presentation titles like “How Lori Lightfoot/Michael Jordan could use Teams/PowerPlatform/SharePoint to stop covid/analyze his game/build an intranet.”  Chicago is known also for being a Comedy mecca so having fun with this would certainly be in the spirit of the event!  Submit your talks now!
