Call for Presentations This is the 2021 edition of Apache Airflow Summit and we are looking for great speakers who will provide engaging and interesting content for the event. DateAirflow Summit 2021 will be from July 8 to July 16, 2021, with workshops on July 8 & 9. Format of the eventThe event will be completely online and have blocks of sessions at different times of the day in order to provide live content to attendees in different parts of the world. With the exception of lightning talks and workshops, sessions will either be 20 minutes or 40 minutes, and blocks will include time for Q&A. We will feature:Technical talks Case studiesTechnical deep divesLightning talks (10 min)Panels Workshops (2-3 hours)Topics of the talks The topics should be related to Apache Airflow, and we are mostly interested in talks related to: Best practices for Apache Airflow usage and deployment- end-2-end use cases Best practices for Apache Airflow components (Executors, Workers, DAG testing) Integrations with Apache Airflow When Apache Airflow is good and when it is not - lessons learned from the trenches Future of Apache Airflow - what is planned, what might be needed, how to stay relevant in the future Apache Airflow Community - how and why it works, Apache Way, how to contribute to the community without being a coder We are also open to alternative topics related to Apache Airflow, so feel free to propose whatever you think might be relevant for the community. Non-coding related talks Following Apache's "Community over code" motto - there will also be non-coding and diverse skilled members of the community who not only code but contribute to the overall health and strength of the community - this will be a great chance to meet them and see some of the talks. If you have a subject that you would like to submit in that area - you are more than welcome! Expected attendees Our attendees will be a healthy mixture of: Data Scientists Data Engineers Business Intelligence Analysts DevOps Engineers using and running the Apache Airflow "to be" users of Apache Airflow - who consider moving from other workflow engines or simply introduce one in their daily job Users and developers of products that are built on top of Apache Airflow Members of other communities that Apache Airflow Community partners with and collaborates Non-coding members of Apache Airflow Community who help the community to thrive Code of Conduct Apache Airflow Summit is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled, at the discretion of the event organizers. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, unwanted photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Sexual language and imagery will not be tolerated in any talk or activity related to the event. Exhibitors should also refrain from using sexualized images, activities, or other material. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event.
