This is a demo event. It's fake. But that's good - you can test it as much as you want: submit sessions, send mailings, create schedule, build your testing content team... Anything. Call for Speakers Interested speakers are invited to submit their presentations to be a speaker for the 2020 IT Pro Camp being held on October 8, 2020. We are expecting about 1,000 small businesses and non-profits to attend. We will have workshops and break-out sessions during the event. That will be about 12-15 Workshop Sessions to fill. One person or group may be selected to do the same presentation multiple times. To be considered for one of the Workshop sessions, you must submit a session title, topic description, and a brief. Once you are confirmed as a speaker, we may need additional information for marketing as we move forward. Some of the topics being sought for the breakout sessions are provided below.Antivirus software and antispyware Phishing Emails Firewalls Wi- Fi Security practices and policies Educate about cyber threats and how to protect an organization’s data Use of strong passwords Data loss/Disaster recovery Encryption technologies Two-factor authentication Protect public-facing websites Credit Card protection If you have a topic that is not listed, please send the topic and a brief description to cfs2020@itprocamp.com Topics considered for the 50-minute workshop sessions should benefit a small business or non-profit as it relates to cybersecurity. The content should be at an introductory or intermediate level and if the session can be interactive or hands-on, even better. Most small businesses, individuals or non-profits may not have a full-time dedicated cybersecurity person. Many rely on an office manager or some other non-technical person to handle computers and security.
