After a successful Update Conference Prague 2019, we are now looking for speakers for the Update Conference Prague 2020. The main conference topics are .NET, cloud and security. There will be 3 tracks with 42 sessions in total. Our goal is to bring influential speakers from all over the world and have a diverse lineup of experts with various backgrounds and experiences. We will be happy to see session proposals on .NET, cloud or security-related topics from everyone. If you have any questions or doubts, feel free to contact us - we will be happy to help with your session proposal. The event takes place on November 12-13 in Clarion Congress Hotel Prague. Last year we had more than 600 people. On November 14 we are preparing a tour around Prague for speakers. Most of the audience are .NET developers. All sessions should be in English. The standard session length is 50 minutes, but if you have something interesting that requires more or less time, feel free to submit and add a note to the proposal. The main topics of the conference are .NET, cloud and security, but feel free to suggest just anything that is related to .NET development. You can find an inspiration in the agenda from the last year.COVID-19 InformationWe are carefully watching the situation of the COVID-19 outbreak. The Czech government has already started easing the restrictions, and events of up to 500 attendees are now permitted. We sincerely hope that the conference will take place on November 12-13 in the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague as planned and that most of the speakers will be able to come to Prague in person.We understand that not anyone feels comfortable traveling in these crazy times. That's why all sessions of the conference will be live-streamed so the attendees can stay at home, and the Call for Speakers is open to all speakers no matter whether they want to come to Prague or present from their home.Please do submit even if you're going to deliver your session remotely, or if you are not sure that it'll be safe to travel in November. If you decide to come to Prague, we'll be more than happy and help you with travel arrangements. We plan to start booking flight tickets in mid-September. In any case, we'll do our best to help you with anything you need to deliver your session. The conference is prepared to respond quickly if the situation changes. If in-person events are restricted, the conference will switch to the online-only form.
