Description:
It is not unknown that India is facing a relentless tragedy due to the fierce coronavirus. Lakhs of people are fighting every day for their lives and the numbers have taken a painful toll on our healthcare system that has ceased to function smoothly due to multiple factors. Lack of resources and medication, just to name a few. Apart from the healthcare system collapse, various industries are facing an unprecedented backlash yet the software industry seems to be comparatively unaffected. While we (as people from tech backgrounds) are grateful to have had the utilities manageable for us, we are not unaware that everyone is not as fortunate as many of us. Hence, we decided to come up with a way to tackle the problem to the best of our abilities, CodeAid.CodeAid is an online tech fundraiser event that brings accomplished experts from all over the country on a single platform to host a series of talks and technical sessions on ios, Android, ML, Flutter, Web, and many more. There will be a series of Q&A sessions and an opportunity to interact with well-versed tech speakers and software developers on vivid topics. Anyone interested can join to be a part of CodeAid, can attend any session they like, and donate for a cause while learning. All the donations will be given to the Hemkunt Foundation here. To see something tragic happen is heart-breaking but the thought of not being able to do something about it makes it even worse. Here’s a chance to help out the ones in need. Be a part of CodeAid and donate to a good cause because together we can overcome this catastrophe. Please submit for a Session (40 min), Lightning Talk (20 min), or Workshop (90 min)Please adhere to the following guidelines when submitting your talk to CodeAid. We cannot guarantee that if you follow these suggestions that your talk will be accepted, but you will have a much better chance:1. Please ensure that your talk title and description match and that the title accurately reflects your topicWe all love a cute and catchy talk title with a nice play on words, but the program committee (and attendees for that matter) should be able to tell at a glance what topic your session will cover.2. Define key takeaways and learning pointsYou will help the committee select your topic if you can explain what you hope audience members will learn. Please try and include three to five key points that make your talk stand out from others. (This is important because we often receive 4-5 submissions on the same topic.) The more concrete (and relevant) these learning points are to the audience/conference, the better.
