DataEngConfAu - Bites! is a not-for-profit virtual event centred on real world data engineering problems and solutions. It is a taster of what is to come for our in-person event which will be held in 2021.TalksOur talks are designed to be bite-sized and virtual: - 10 minute lightning talk for up and coming speakers- 25 minutes (including Q&A)We are looking for:We are looking for talks aligned to our three themes: Data at rest - scaling, data warehouses, data lakes, data storageData in motion - event driven architecture, data pipelines, IoT, batch, streamingData for machine learning - getting models into production, data pipeline for machine learning, managing data artifacts, feature stores etc We are looking for a range of stories and real-world experiences from working on your side projects through to enterprise level applications. Share your learnings, experiences and best practices with us. As this is a virtual conference all selected talks will be provided with guidelines on how to record your talk prior to the conference.Mentoring, Review and CoachingAre you a first time speaker? We have support available from submitting a conference CFP through the speaking. We have mentors who are happy to review your submissions and give you advice!
