NDC Minnesota 2020 will be an online event focusing on hands-on workshops.Format and DurationThe first two days will consist of deep-dive 1 and 2-day workshops. The last two days will consist of half-day workshops, each lasting 3.5 hours.Attendees will pre-register for the 1 and 2-day workshops, allowing you to know attendance levels in advance. Half-day workshops will not require pre-registration, and therefore attendance levels will not be known in advance.Hands-On ContentWe want to offer attendees a hands-on experience. Please include labs, exercises, or other ways for attendees to get hands-on experience with the subjects.If you have not run interactive online workshops before, don’t worry - we will run training sessions, rehearsals, and webinars to help you adapt your material and your teaching style to the online format.TimingMorning Slots: 09:00 - 12:30Break: 12:30 - 13:30Afternoon Slots: 13:30 - 17:00All times in local Minnesota time (CST)Speaker CompensationSpeakers will receive $50 (USD) for each attendee per half-day:$50 per attendee per half-day workshop.$100 per attendee per 1-day workshop.$200 per attendee per 2-day workshop.
