A lot has changed in world of PHP since PHP 5, from the introduction of generators, closures, and strict typing, PHP is definately worth taking another look at. In this talk, we will take a look at some of the new features that have been introduce since PHP 5.2, the difference between Facebook's Hack Lang and HHVM, and some of the new PSR's that have been approved. This talk is for any developer who wants to learn more about PHP and haven't yet used PHP 7.1 in production.
