The "command line" is one of the first speed bumps for new programmers. Some of us still don't really get it, some of us know just enough to get by, and some feel like they might be doing it right, but just aren't sure. All are welcome to this talk.

We'll cover the what and why of terminals, where BASH fits in that whole picture, what its advanced powers are, and what competitors offer. We won't offer a full explanation on BASH scripting, but aliases, paths, commands, and the basic of scripts will all be discussed.
