Git is a very powerful and versatile versioning system. For beginners there are many IDE's supporting the Git workflow. But to use more sophisticated commands and get the best out of Git you have to use the command line interface.
Stepping out of the IDE's comfort zone is often hard and there are many detractors which state that something could also be done by an IDE.
In this talk I'm giving a step by step introduction into the Git CLI, showing effective and fast to use commands that help provide the developer with a powerful workflow for their daily work.
