Bash is present and most Linux distributions these days. Along with Bash, Linux distributions come with many commands that are very helpful when dealing with streams. Think about them like they're Lego bricks: a brick alone doesn't do much, but putting them together can be a lot of fun!

In this talk, there will be some serious Bash scripting walking through a real-life Bash application. At the same time, this talk will show how useful and fun Bash scripting can be.
