At bitExpert AG, we have used Nomad to manage our internal workloads since 2018. Over time, Nomad has improved significantly, and in 2023, we decided to start fresh to simplify our setup while making it more flexible and scalable for future needs. In this talk, I will explain how we configured our new Nomad stack, successfully migrated workloads one by one, why we went with SeaweedFS as CSI volume storage,, and how we simplified our job deployments via GitLab CI pipelines.
